WHAT IS CLASSED AS VINTAGE CLOTHING?
items made between 20 and 100 years ago are considered "vintage"
The last decade which is considered vintage are the 1990s up to about the early 2000s.
The difference between second hand and vintage is:
Vintage garments are rare one offs from a certain fashion decade, which makes them special like a collectors item, whereas second hand only refers to "pre-used".
They are usually well made and stand the test of time, which is often not the case with second hand from fast fashion brands.
WHY VINTAGE?
These clothing items come with a sense of history attached to them & were well made, which is two of the reasons they are valued by vintage enthusiasts.

WHAT DOES HANDPICKED QUALITY MEAN?
Instead of ordering bulk online we travel to various places like vintage wholesalers around Europe to select each piece individually by hand.
We prefer to touch every piece and try it on to ensure it has great style, fit and quality.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY OCCASIONAL WEARS & TEARS
Occasional wears & tears are minor scratches, colour changes, visible signs that the garment has been pre-loved.
these little imperfections are the history and add to the character of the garment.
If there are any major wears & tears we can't mend, it is stated on the product page.
DO YOU CLEAN / WASH THE GARMENTS?
Everything is steamed or washed & ironed depending on the fabric.
DO YOU MEND GARMENTS?
We are mending some small wears & tears like ripped seams, hems, little holes, remove pilling,remove stains, replace buttons.. if necessary or possible.
REWORKED & HANDMADE WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
We love to express ourselves creatively by reworking some of the vintage garments & reclaimed fabrics into unique one offs.
reclaimed fabrics could come from unwanted clothes & any textiles, like dead stock fabric etc... We are using what's already on the planet.
These are made by the two of us only.
IS THERE A PHYSICAL SHOP TO TRY THINGS ON?
It is our aim to have a physical shop in the future. For now it is an online shop only with pick up option available in our studio in St. Wolfgang / Austria.

WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR PRODUCTS?
We travel to various places like vintage wholesalers, flea markets, thrift stores around Europe to select each piece individually by hand.
HOW ABOUT PRICING?
We are buying our products by selecting them individually in person. Most often we have to travel to different countries around Europe.
We are a two women show only: we are washing, mending, reworking, shooting the garments, packing orders, managing social media and running our online shop. All of this is only doable with a small quantity of products.
In order to run our business we have to pay numerous fees & taxes.

All of these factors are calculated into our prices with our price formula.
